The ODAHCenter offers a full range of training for both puppies and adults, both group and private lessons. ODAHCenter training classes will help make your dog the good dog he/she wants to be. The guiding force behind our success is our Training Director, Liz Thomas. By 10 weeks old, your puppy is ready to go to school and learn. It's important that you spot this critical window of opportunity as the prime time to begin training. Professional trainers like Liz feel strongly that, to become good pets, puppies need conscientious owners. First, your young dog needs to learn some manners and basic commands like sit, down, stay, settle down, off (don't touch), and coming when called. What's more, your animal companion needs to be socialized, so he will know how to respond well when exposed to children, other people, and other people's pets. Not only is it more fun to train a puppy - it's smart prevention for future problems. Even serious puppy training can be fun. Liz Thomas teaches with fun, positive reinforcement and loads of praise. So, if you're worried about having to jerk your dog's chain, forget it. Before your dog becomes an unruly, uncontrollable adolescent, or an adult dog with well-practiced problems, start training. By the way, if your dog, not your puppy, is in need of training, don't despair. With the right coach, you can teach an old dog new tricks. Give your dog the opportunity to be his best. Schooling together at ODAHCenter, you'll strengthen the bond you share with your dog.
